This book about a 11-year old boy, named Sam. He has terminal leukaemia. He writes a book, about the things going on around him, plus his thoughts.
Wow, this book was good. Sam, wants to know the things he has on his list, before he dies. I could sense that Yes, he was scared - but he knew that his time was almost up. So, the narrator makes the tone in the book, sort of optimistic, and hopeful. I felt his emotions, like when he didn't want his family to be very sad, about the stuff going on with him.
I found it double interesting, the fact that the author wrote about, but also explained certain stuff about leukaemia, like phrases pretaining to that.
Now, I did shift to a state of being uncomfortable, when Sam and and his friend talked about God. Sam believes in God (though, I got the impression, he wasn't to certain), and his friend (he has leukaemia too) is an atheist. This was first book that I have read, that even mentioned the word atheist.
I was like, okay - it's just a book. But still. Anyway, the ending was sad, but it was good for it being a book.
