You don't have to believe in "reincarnation" in order undertand the plot. You don't need to think of it in a religious context in order to enjoy the romance and history that goes on throughout the story. I love how the story changes settings adn time periods throughout the whole book.This is a great romance novel. It tells the story of four teenagers, two girls and two boys, starting from prehistoric times. Then since its obvious that the four people need a second chance to get their lives right, they reincarnate. This happens throught the story and you can see how the characters slowly remember each other and what types of things they do in order to fix their mistakes. It was very inspiring and the message basically is, "If at first you don't succeed ,try again."
