New vampires are stalking Vampirate seas, while Grace and Connor face different obstacles.
Heh, this is book four of the Vampirate series. And seriously, I am sort of disappointed. From what? Let's find out, shall we?
Seriously, the most coolest and fun parts, is when the story goes back to Conner's point of view. Connor like I said in the other review, is more of a mature, and sensible character. He thinks rationally, unlike Grace. In this book we go more in depth, about Lorcan and Grace's relationship. The end, shows the romantic scene between them, and Yet - my essential reaction was, "That was really lame". Why? I didn't understand what was the deal with Lorcan, and this big that at that time (earlier in the other books), that he couldn't be with Grace.
And, there's Grace. Again, no real character development. She really fits, her age. 14, and trying to seem like she is this grown woman.
All Grace thinks about, is Lorcan and the vampires. Really. For example, I found out something about Connor and Grace, that really changes them, and the story in whole. Connor, you know, questions it, and isn't happy about it. As the reader, I could understand it. Thats what's cool about it, the author gives Connor a real good prespective. On the other hand, Grace is all willy- nilly, cause she feels they have to accept it.
Connor thinks about her and her safetly, while she ignores that. So, that makes me lose interest in her.
So, really, this was sort of good, compared to bunch of other books, that are a series. Not as good as the others, but OKAY.
