Rating: It was alright

Setting: On a slave farm, where she worked as a slave, the slave owner was very cruel and didn’t give her much food and sent her to different homes where she was whipped even worse. She started working in the house and then got kicked out into the fields where the work was hard. Characters: Minty, who was a small fearful black slave girl, was the main character with her mom dad sisters and brothers. The slave overseer and plantation owner were also main characters. Conflict: The conflict in the story was Minty’s struggle to decide if she should run away or not. She did run away through the underground railway. But it wasn’t until after she was already an adult. She also came back and helped people escape by using the underground railway. She was one of the most famous slaves ever.
