NightShade is a book you won't be able to put down...I sure couldn't.

About a girl who grows up a guardian of a life only her kind know about. Calla knows her path and prepares her self to follow through on one of the most important nights of her life. Out of the blue she meets a boy who captures her mind. She can't forget about him or leave him alone. Directed to keep this boy happy, she takes him under her wing so to speak. Unknowingly, she ends up falling in love with him. Her life, as she knows it, is turned upside down and only she can correct it ... but can she just evacuate the life she's known? Or run from this new love she's fallen into?

It's a book I couldn't put down until it was finished.

This cook book is full of wonderful cooking, baking, and hospitality tips. Some of the things you learn from it may be a little bit old fashioned, because it was originally published in 1950, but there are still a lot of great things to learn from it. One of things you need to know as you read this book is that some of the recipes include uncooked eggs, which in that case you just need to figure out a way to cook the eggs first. My mom used the recipe Texas Hash from this cook book and it was really yummy! After reading parts of this book I put together a menu from it that I plan to make for dinner some time. One thing that I think is cool is that the pictures are the original pictures from the 1950's edition. I love this book and I really want to encourage you to read it!

This time the 13-year-old twins, Bryce and Ashley, are trying to solve a chain of fast food robberies. At the same time they're trying really hard to not kill off all the pets in the house they're house sitting for.You get both the twin's reactions as they feed a mouse to Binky, the six foot long snake, because of the unique, fun way the authors alternate between Bryce and Ashley's perspectives.
This book is constantly exciting and fun. Once you start it you will not be able to put it down!
