Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is a beautiful book that tells the tale of Elizabeth Bennet, the second oldest daughter of Mr. Bennet and Mrs. Bennet. She and her family attend a ball in honor of Charles Bingley, a wealthy bachelor who decides to settle down in Meryton. His good friend, Fitzwilliam Darcy, unknowingly insults Elizabeth's beauty, sparking an ongoing duel of prejudices that Elizabeth is certain are more than enough to tell her of his intentions. This is a fine book and definitely one of Jan Austen's best books.
Recommended to: any fan of 1800's literature
