This is a great book about a kid who gets shipwrecked on an island with no one but a wild stallion. When he gets home he tries to keep and take care of the stallion; and maybe even race him! I think this is a wonderful book because it's interesting, and shows a great bond between a boy and his horse. Be prepared for some fighting between horses, and someone gets struck with a hoof and possibly killed at the beginning.
Recommended to: Ages 12+. Readers looking for an exciting book that keeps you on your toes.
