The Bad Beginning is the first book in a series of 13, The Series of Unfortunate Events. As you might have guessed, yes, it is a series about a nm=umber of bad things that happen to the 3 Baudelaire siblings: Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. In this book, the Baudeliare's parents die and they are sent off to live with their uncle, "Count Olaf";however, their problems have just begun. Best series I have ever read!! Very well written with a plot I could never dream of thinking up myself.
