This is one play that I could not forget. Raisin in the sun has always been one of the classic american pieces depicting the black community in the early the United States. This was the new rendition of the play that came out in 2008 with sean combs as Walter Young. Especially for a made-for-TV film, the production values are good, the acting is not bad, and of course the script is great. Based on those qualities alone, its worth checking out. However, I think there was a a little problem with the faithfullness to the orginal script. Compared to the original play with sidney poiter, this is nothing close. Nevertheless, it is something that all people should see.
