The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a coming of age about awkward 15 year old Charlie who is starting his freshman year of High School and dealing with the death of his best friend Micheal. When meets two step siblings, Sam and Patrick, he finally feels more open and free. Charlie goes through life and comes across love, friendship, and drugs and learns the harsh facts of life. I would strongly suggest this book; however, some aspects of the book or movie maybe too mature for some kids. All in all it is an outstanding book.
