Rating: It was alright.
The book is about Yusaku Godai, a boy who's a struggling college student and resident of the dilapidated apartment building named Maison Ikkoku. He becomes in love with the new manager of Maison Ikkoku, the lovely Kyoko Otonashi, who isn't all that unattracted to Godai. She's had a hard time trying to deal with the recent death of her husband.
