When Harry Met Sally

I was relatively surprised that this movie was in 1989 because I'm so used to seeing Meg Ryan in more recent movies. This was definitely not the best movie she's in...
When Harry Met Sally started out pretty funny, but the movie just dragged on and on. It was like seeing the clouds go by. First it's fun, then it's just like... what am I doing here? You're basically paying to watch two people develop feelings for each other initially as friends... (I've never really considered each hating each other). I guess I expected too much out of this movie, and who couldn't have when the ratings were so high?
The only parts I really found amusing was when in between scenes there were real old couples that talk about how they fell in love and how they managed to still stay in love for like 50+ years. Those were cute and sweet. When Harry Met Sally's plot would not compare to these old couple's life stories. I would rather watch what happened between the old couples than watch When Harry Met Sally again, sadly.
