Emma is an only child living with her mother, and she wants to keep it that way. But then a four-year-old nuisance named Anthony comes to live at Emma's house for a week. Emma wants to impress her new friend Cynthia, but how can she if she's afraid Anthony will embaress her.

But as the week draws to an end, Emma finds that she doesn't really want Anthony to go, because then it will just be her. Only Emma.
