Compound

When the US is attacked by nuclear bombs, Eli's family escapes to an underground compound made by his billionare dad. Leaving his brother and grandmother behind, he starts a new life. After six years of seclusion, he starts to question what really happened.

The basic idea of this story had lots of potential. The problem was how it was developed.

Eli isn't always a very interesting character to follow. I do like how he isn't the basic male hero sterotype though. Plus, he loves his brother. I'm a sucker for family fluff.

Eli's mother was the one character I didn't find interesting at all. She was one dimesional and a little boring.

The writing style was enjoyable and simple. Its the plot that needed work. Overall, it could've been a little more suspenseful.
