A Wrinkle in Time is a great book—after all, it won a Newbery Medal—with interesting twists that make it one of the most enjoyable books I have recently read. Meg Murry, her brother Charles Wallace, and a boy from school, Calvin O’Keefe, set out on a search, with Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Who, and Mrs Which, for Meg and Charles Wallace’s father who had disappeared while doing classified work on Tesseracts, also known as wrinkles in time, for the government. Charles Wallace ends up caught by IT (no, I won’t explain what IT is. read the book.) on the planet Camazotz. Meg and Calvin tesser onto another planet where there are—wait. I can’t give away the rest of the story, can I? Overall the story was fairly fast-paced, even, at times, too fast for my taste. However the details made it one of the most interesting books I have read.
