The second book in this epic story, follows Richard under going changes that he battles within himself.

This book was good. Richard turns out to be a powerful wizard, like his grandfather Zedd. New characters (villians as well) are introduced, and makes Kahlan's and richard's wedding on hold.

I thought it was written well, and I enjoy how the author puts interesting themes into the stories.
