This book is about a guy and a girl who keep being reincarnated and keep finding eachother each time. They keep getting the feeling of knowing each other but can't pin it down. They also get flashbacks of the past. Before they can make sense of it all one dies. Can they ever be together?? I thought it was ok.

This book is writen in poem form and it's about a girl who's boyfriend recently died. What she doesn't realize is that he isn't really gone? Is it her imagination or can she really believe he is a ghost? This was an easy book to go through and I enjoyed reading it.

Artemis Fowl - The Time Paradox
Artemis Fowl- The Time Paradox

As an Artemis Fowl fan, I thought this book was great. Its not my favorite but it was up to par with the others. My favorite thing about this story was the actual paradox. I love paradoxes. My least favorite thing would have to be the moments between Artemis and Holly. In the previous books, it was just mutual respect and friendship and I loved that. I really didn't want it to turn into something romantic. I think there are already too many books like that out there.
Seeing Artemis's behavior change has also been very interesting to read. If you compare the current Artemis to the one from the first, its almost amusing.
The wit and action of the previous books were there as well.
Overall, I would really love Eion to continue this wonderful series.

My favorite part of this book was Peter's love of biking and photography. The way its described almost made me want to grab a camera and take a random picture. Other than that, there wasn't much I liked. The characters weren't really planned out well. I give it plus points for the realism though, especially the peer pressure. The ending left me unsatisfied. Very unsatisfied. I wanted to know more about Peter's family problems especially Vince. This is the kind of book I won't remember in about three months. Overall, is was just okay.
Recommended to: 14 and older. Easy read.

This book I could really relate to. I had a surgery, and before, I felt the way that the main character thought about the whole situation. It's really a book that appeals!
Recommended to: Any preteen, teen, or even an adult! Also, amputees and anyone who has undergone a medicl procedure.

Spoilers Ahead!
I thought that this was a pretty good way to end the series, though it almost feels like the book should have been two books instead. Like its predecessors, the writing flows very well. There were certain plot points that weren't as good. It was nice that Jacob got to narrate, but I felt that Renesmee was the author's way of appeasing the Jacob fans. A half-vampire child makes sense, but the author didn't have to make sure that all of the characters had a happy ending. I also think that Bella's willingness to leave her human family to be with her vampire boyfriend is just a little bit selfish on her part. The ending was a bit anticlimactic, but I guess that enormous battles as endings are somewhat used. Lastly, I think that teenage girls (most of them) don't understand what it is to be a mother, or to have such an intense love for a person. Since I haven't experienced these things, I had a hard time relating to Bella in this book. As long as Stephenie Meyer doesn't rant too much about how good looking the male characters in her next book are, I'll read it. (I heard it the second time.)
Recommended to: Teen girls mainly, though I think boys can enjoy it too. Some of the content isn't suitable for kids under high school.

Warning: there are some spoilers in this review.
Fushigi Yugi is about a girl named Miaka who reads a mysterious old book and is sucked into a magical other dimension. First off, the whole sucked into an alternate dimension thing is a little used, but there are a lot of plot twists in this series that make it interesting to watch. Personally, I thought that Miaka was a bit annoying. She isn't the brightest crayon in the box and it seems like she always needs to be saved by one of the many physically attractive male characters, and said male characters are in love with her. Also, Miaka is one of the only female characters in the series. In one of the episodes another female character is introduced, but we later find out that she is not a woman after all. Miaka isn't entirely unlikable, however annoying she can sometimes be. Occassionally she shows some guts and selflessness. I would recommend that you watch the sub, some of the the voices, for example the narrator, are a bit annoying, kind of like Miaka.
In future volumes I would like to see more development of male characters (there's got to be more to them than looks).

For those who loved Narnia and other C.S. Lewis works. Mere Christianity isn't just another boring religious book. It started out as a series of radio broadcasts in World War II, so it seems as if the author is speaking to you. The logic in the book is very compelling and draws the reader in. Many consider it to be one of the best Christian books ever written besides the bible.
