As the book says on the front, "'What would you be willing to do in order to inherit one billion dollars?'" Follow selfish, 24 year old, Jason Stevens on his one-year journey to receive the ultimate gift. It all started the day Miss Hastings came in and told Mr. Hamilton, an 80-year-old lawyer, That Red Stevens had died. Red and Theodore Hamilton had been great friends. At the reading of the will all of Red's rich, snobbish relatives waited anxiously for their portion of the fortune. When Jason was the last one left in the room he was sure he hadn't received anything, but as Mr. Hamilton explained, he was to meet with Mr. Hamilton once a month to watch a video of his great uncle Red explaining a lesson for him to learn. Some of the great lessons he learned throughout the year were about work, laughter, family and love. I enjoyed this book a lot. The movie is also very good. If you read this book I'm sure you will learn and remember for your whole life some or all of the lessons Jason learns. I hope you try it and enjoy it!

I would recommend this to: It's an adult book, but teens will enjoy it too.
