This is an inspirational story about a Lithuanian girl, Lina, who is sent to a work camp for the Soviets in Siberia. Lina must struggle to survive there, and try to get a message to her dad, who ended up in a separate prison camp.
Will Lina be able to get the message to her dad? Will she, her mother, and her brother find the strength to fight another day? Find out in Between Shades of Gray!
This book was very well written, although I never felt the need to keep reading. I felt that I could put the book down, and go do something else. But overall, still a great read!
