Rating: It was alright...
A Separate Peace is about a boy, Gene, who is content to live in the shadows, and his best friend, Finny.
Gene has always been an academic genius, while Finny was good at
everything but school. They might seem like a great pair, but what
happens when Finny get seriously hurt... and it's all Gene's fault?
This book is very sophisticatedly written and is full of great metaphors
and similes. The problem was that the plot got very slow at times.
There were not that many exciting parts; however, when there were
exciting parts, they were very exciting.
Recommended to: Sophisticated readers
