Fire is an interesting tale of magic and monsters. But not monsters like you and I are used to. You see, Fire is the last human-shaped monster. She is beautiful. She is deadly. She just wants to be left alone. That doesn't seem to be a possibility when a hunter shoots her with an arrow. Now she and her lifelong friend Archer (I know right? Irony.) must request more guards for their home. Crown Prince Nash instantly falls in love with her Monster beauty, he literally can't help it, while his brother Prince Brigan seems to hate her. But we all know how that will end. It is a romantic fantasy after all. (But I promise there's nothing above PG.)

Yes, another book in the Eragon series. Eragon, Saphira, and Roran's trials have only begun. Now they track the Ra'zac who have stolen Katrina. After that grisly adventure the group head back to the Varden for a much needed celebration. But of course, it doesn't last long and Eragon is back in training. Then Saphira reveals to him a message from old Brom. A message that reveals one heck of a surprise and a bit of hope.

This book is practically an action movie, moving from one battle to the next, though not all are bloody. Keep reading this series!

Eragon and Saphira have been through quite a bit. Dear friends have been lost. Traitors have been revealed. Eragon is now Shadeslayer. But they are about to discover something amazing.  Something that brings them hope.

Meanwhile the reader also follows the story of Eragon's cousin, Roran, in Carvahall for he is about to embark on an adventure of his own. I wish I could tell you more but there are so many interlocking twists in this tale that all I can do is implore you to read it!

If you read Eragon then please continue, I promise you it only gets better!

Eragon. Where do I begin? Chris Paolini has not created a world on the level of Middle Earth but he came quite close. The story begins with an unlikey hero (how else?); Eragon. Eragon is just a farm boy, but one day he finds a blue stone at the foot of the Spine, a long mountain range that has kept his village from the tyranny of the King. There's just one problem. That stone isn't a stone. It's an egg.

Eragon has just become Alagaesia's first Dragon Rider in a long, long time. And by doing so he has opened up a BIG can o' worms. Now weird creatures are trying to kill him, by order of King Galbotorix, his dragon is growing way to big, and a crotchety old man is telling him what to do.

The last thing Kelsey Hayes thought she'd be doing this summer was trying to break a 300-year-old Indian curse, with a mysterious whiter tiger named Ren, halfway around the world.

But that's exactly what happened.

Face-to-face with dark forces, spellbinding magic, and mystical worlds where nothing is what it seems; Kelsey risks everything to piece together an ancient prophecy that could break the curse forever.

This is a book you'll want to read over and over again.

Violence. Suspense. Humanity. Love. In the fall of 2008, author Suzanne Collins created a novel that combined sacrifice with survival: The Hunger Games. It is 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen's jarring, yet touching, tale about the one event that changed her life: entering the Hunger Games. From the moment she volunteered as tribute in place of her little loved one (Primrose Everdeen), to the day she was presented as the winner of the 74th Games, Katniss got first-hand experience at how life can easily be snatched away from her. Along the way, she comes across both victories and tragedies. Read all about the book that leaves everyone realizing the truth about reality...
