The negativity coming from this review is intense! Your title says that you're thirteen, and I'm guessing you read this book for summer Honors English work. If the novel has gone over your head at this point, maybe you should wait a few years to read it. Almost everyone I know has taken huge lessons and ideas away from that book. It's really sad that you were confused by the story--watch out, because the test at the beginning of the year is challenging. My advice is for you to read the book again, slowly, or with help, and to come back and write a real, constructive review. What you have here isn't really helpful. (:

Actually I read this book by choice and couldn't finish reading it because it made me feel sick.
Oddly enough, though, the movie was pretty good. I'm just not built for classics, I guess, because Little Women had the same affect!

I respect your right to not like it but please write a review and not just your opinion.
